Our Story

After working for ten years in the corporate world, the founder decided to pursue his writing and marketing passion. He started off in 2007 at freelance marketplaces writing web content and blog posts for clients from all over the world. 

In 2008, he decided to launch his own Digital Marketing Agency, and Sanifu Media was born.

“Sanifu” is a Swahili word which, when translated means, “to compose with skill” (as a verb). It can also refer to doing something in the “proper or standard” manner or “artfully made” as an adjective. This is reflected in all the work we take on. We love to do things right and don’t believe in taking shortcuts. But, don’t take our word for it; see the feedback that clients have given members of our team below:

Sanifu Media has so far delivered thousands of web content pages, blog posts and provided digital marketing services to hundreds of clients.

We only hire the best, and each member of the team holds a Bachelor’s Degree as the minimum level of education. We also occasionally hire subject matter experts on a contract basis when the need arises.

We have built our reputation on the quality of our work but back up our content creation skills with a deep understanding of digital marketing. Our staff also comprise experts in social media, email marketing, graphic and web design, lead generation, and language translators.

Sanifu Media has evolved from a content creator to a fully-fledged digital marketing agency offering all the services that a client would need to make their brand stand out from the rest.

About the Founder

Kihara Kimachia (Kimkay) 

Kihara is the founder of Sanifu Media and has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing gained in various industries. He holds a Degree in International Business Administration from the United States International University (USIU) with a Marketing concentration. Additionally, he has professional insurance and sales qualifications and is a Hubspot Certified Inbound Marketer and Content Marketer. Kihara is skilled in and tested on content creation, social promotion, lead nurturing and conversion, and ad management (Google and Facebook). 

He is a prolific writer with a passion for business and technology. In the past, he has contributed to reputable tech websites such as MakeUseOf.commaketecheasier.com and ghostwritten for dozens of other websites.
